These emails typically claim that a domain or hosting service has been suspended due to a failed automatic renewal, and they urge recipients to click a link to “reactivate” the service.
This is a scam.
How the Scam Works
The fraudulent emails are designed to look official and often include:
- Statements such as “service suspended due to payment failure”
- References to automatic renewal issues
- A button or link prompting immediate action (e.g. “Reactivate your service”)
- Use of well-known provider names to create urgency and credibility
The goal is to trick recipients into clicking malicious links and providing payment or login details.
Important Clarification from Adver Marketing
To avoid any confusion, we would like to clearly state the following:
- Adver Marketing does NOT use automatic renewal failure emails
- All websites, domain names, VPS hosting, and email services managed or hosted by us do not rely on auto-renewal notification links
- We will never ask clients to make payments or verify accounts via third-party links in unsolicited emails
- Ventraip also does not require urgent action via external payment links
Any email claiming otherwise did not originate from Adver Marketing.
What You Should Do
If you receive an email of this nature:
- ❌ Do not click any links
- ❌ Do not reply to the email
- ❌ Do not enter any personal or payment information
- 🗑️ Delete the email immediately
